Deb Hollon, GIS Analyst, specializes in data collection, transformation, and analysis for several community indicator initiatives. She is responsible for discovering and collecting administrative records from local, state, and national agencies; cleaning, analyzing, and transforming data into meaningful indicators; establishing and automating those processes; and defining online data visualizations to communicate those data to various audiences through multiple web-based tools. She is responsible for data production for the SAVI Community Information System, IndyVitals.org, assessment.savi.org, and profiles.savi.org. She also supports data management and analysis reports for a variety of community partners. Deb has a BA from Indiana State University, an MBA from Vanderbilt University, and an MS in Geography/GIS from Ball State University. Prior to joining Polis, she worked at the Federal Emergency Management Agency as a GIS specialist, GIS Labs at Ball State University, the Michigan Senate, and the Kansas Legislature.
